He is the kind and dependable sheriff of Maretime Bay and the dragon dad of Sparky Sparkeroni. He is notable for being the first male pony to be part of a main cast.

After the Unity Crystals were reunited, he gained the magical abilities to grow plants and talk to animals, which led to him adopting a baby dragon named Sparky Sparkeroni. He represents the element of Kindness.
