- Baby Schoolbag is a colt, the first in the My Little Pony line to be cast in the female Baby Blossom Pose. A similar situation happened with his Schooltime Ponies counterpart Sports-Time, who was the first stallion to use a mare pose. Regardless of the pose, Baby Schoolbag was given the Clydesdale/Shire hooved look of male ponies in the UK comics. This in contrast to Sports-Time, who was always drawn with bare hooves.
