Golden Harvest is a G4 Earth Pony. She first appeared as an background pony in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and was officially named after appearing as a blind bag toy.

Golden Harvest is a background pony, normally used for specific gags and to fill crowd scenes. She has made minor speaking appearances at times, but rarely plays a large role in the plot. Like all background ponies, she was originally unnamed; however, fans referred to her as Carrot Top due to her orange hair and carrot-themed cutie mark.
