A lot of ponies share the same type of hair color. This is a list to group those names together.

G1 Hair Colors

Some ponies may seem to have wildly varying shades of colors but, it may in fact be UV degradation. [1] Generally light colors seem to be more prone to this than darker ones. [2]

This color was introduced in Year Three. The hexadecimal is #F81830 and is also known as Torch Red.

G1 Red Stripe

The color was first used in Year Five. The hexadecimal is #D30512 and it's also known as Monza.

Ponies with this type of hair changed color when in contact with warm water. The texture is different from normal hair and feels more like cotton.[22]
