The Perfume Kitties and Puppies were watching the rain. "We can't play outside. What shall we do?" said Perfuma. "Let's ask Pinkums! She always has the best ideas!" cried Snowy Fur. "Let me think," Pinkums purred, putting on her carnation perfume, "Why don't we sing songs and play games?" So they played and sang till the rain stopped and the sun came out!

The international version of Pinkums is called Sweety. The only difference is in the packaging.
Media Appearances
Pinkums as well as the Gift Set appeared in the 1990 Mattel Catalog (pages 90, 91, 94). The release of Gift Set differs from the catalog version - the Gift Set shows the "real" perfume bottle with a very different shape and color from that of the release version.[2] The Gift Set is also shown in the Mattel Girls Toys 1990 Repro Art Book[3]. Pinkums also makes an appearance in the Mail Order Pamphlet[4].
