Minuette is a G4 Unicorn Pony. She first appeared as a minor character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Minuette was introduced a background pony, normally appearing as an extra or to fill crowd scenes. As such, she was given little development until her appearance in the episode "Amending Fences" and went unnamed until her introduction to the toy line. Prior to her official naming, she was referred to by a several names by fans: "Colgate" due to a fan perception that her hair color was similar to toothpaste, or "Romana", after a female time lord from the show "Doctor Who" due to her hourglass cutie mark.
Minuette is a resident of Canterlot, and was a friend of Twilight Sparkle from their days as students in Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Her previous appearances in [[Ponyville (Equestria)|Ponyville] are explained as visits to another friend, Lyra Heartstrings, who moved there from Canterlot.

Blind Bag Figurine
Minuette has been released as a blind bag figurine twice, once as a transparent glittery figure in the fifth wave and as a normal figurine in the seventh wave. Both figurines and the corresponding collector cards depict her as a recolor of Twilight Sparkle. Her collector card states that she is "always on time with the help of some magic!"
