Misty first made a cameo appearance at the end of the first episode of [[My Little Pony: Make Your Mark|Make Your Mark]], nervously watching the shadowy alicorn [[Opaline Arcana]] as she plotted against the [[Core Ponies#Generation 5|Mane 5]]. She was introduced properly in the next episode and spent much of both Make Your Mark and [[My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale|Tell Your Tale]] as Opaline's lackey, attempting to retrieve dragon fire from [[Sparky Sparkeroni]] for Opaline in hopes she would reward her with a Cutie Mark. Eventually she became friends with the Mane 5, realising the error of her ways and turning on Opaline, earning her Cutie Mark in the process. Afterwards she would move into the [[Crystal Brighthouse]] with [[Sunny Starscout]], [[Izzy Moonbow]], [[Zipp Storm]] and [[Pipp Petals]], and reunite with her long-lost father [[Alphabittle Blossomforth]] in [[Bridlewood Forest]].

She represents the [[Elements|element]] of Heart.
