Princess Cadance as she appears in Friendship is Magic.

Princess Cadance is a G4 Pegasus Unicorn pony. She is a supporting character in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and was the third Pegasus Unicorn introduced in the series.

Princess Cadance first appeared in the episode "A Canterlot Wedding: Part 1". She is the adopted niece of Princess Celestia and the former foal-sitter to Twilight Sparkle, whom Cadance is still close to. She has the magical ability to awaken rekindle feelings of love in other ponies. She married Twilight Sparkle's brother Shining Armor. In "A Canterlot Wedding, Cadance is imprisoned by Queen Chrysalis, who then impersonates Cadance before being defeated. After the reappearance of the Crystal Empire, Cadance becomes its ruler. In Season Six, she gives birth to a foal, Flurry Heart.

Princess Cadance is voiced by Britt McKillip.

Blind Bag Princess Cadance

Princess Cadance appeared in the fifth wave of Blind Bag figurines. Her mold is shared with Celestia and Luna. Her collector card features her stock art and mentions that she "loves tiaras".

Crystal Fashion Style Princess Cadance and Shining Armor

Princess Cadance came in a two pack with Shining Armor. Each had their own outfit, while Cadance also had four shoes and a tiara. Additional accessories included a treasure chest, two rings, a gift box and a candy box, a bouquet, three barrettes, and a comb.

Princess Cadance came packaged with Applejack. The set included two barrettes, a necklace, a comb, and Cadance's tiara.

Cadance came with an outfit, comb, tiara, and two sets of shoes. Also included were four gemstones that could be attached to the shoes.

Fantastic Flutters Princess Cadance

Fantastic Flutters Princess Cadance came with a set of wings that could be attached to her back. Cadance was also "rainbowfied", and was decorated with colored hearts; she also had an additional color in her mane.

Design-A-Pony Princess Cadance

Princess Cadance was released as part of the Design-A-Pony line. Her mold was shared with Princess Luna. Cadance had a white mane, tail and wings that could be decorated using the included markers and sticker sets. Much of her were also covered with heart shaped designs that could be colored in.

Year Five (2014)

Rainbow Shimmer Princess Cadence

Cadance was included in the Rainbow Shimmer series. She was translucent, and contained heart shaped glitter inside. Her mold was also used for Rainbow Shimmer Princess Celestia.
