Synopsis

After Sunny's original lighthouse home was destroyed in the events of the movie, the lighthouse was rebuilt and Sunny's friends are moving in.

The episode begins with Sunny Starscout and her friends gathered around a model of the Crystal Brighthouse, a replacement for the lighthouse that Sprout reduced to rubble in the My Little Pony: A New Generation (2021) movie. Not only will the new lighthouse be Sunny's home, but her friends are going to move in too.

The five ponies eagerly run into the Brighthouse to decorate it but the situation spirals out of control as the ponies get in each other's way, splash paint and glue everywhere, and leave the place a mess. Sunny watches in horror as her father's photo is knocked off the wall. She manages to catch it and runs into another room, wondering why everything is going so wrong. Addressing her father's picture, she says she wishes he was here; he always knew how to bring out the best in her.

It occurs to Sunny that that's exactly what her friends need--someone to bring out the best in them. She returns to them and helps tackle each task in an organized way. Before long the Crystal Brighthouse is picture-perfect . . . and the ponies take a group photo to commemorate the occasion.

• The plot of this should be very familiar for anyone that watched G4, as a group of main characters singing a song as they rebuild a home together where something was just destroyed was also used in Castle Sweet Castle for the Mane 6 and Uprooted for the Student 6.
