Synopsis

Jazz can't hide her crush on Rocky, but she is struggling to ask him to the Mane and Hooves Expo.

Plot

Jazz is trying to hide her crush on Rocky but everything she does at work is subconsciously showing it. Pipp points it out when Jazz makes a heart out of Sunny's hair. And Jazz continues by turning Posey's mane into a fluffy heart, drawing Rocky's face on Izzy's hooves, turning another pony's mane into a full sculpture of him, and even drawing a cute picture of the two of them on a mirror in lipstick.

The main characters stay behind at Mane Melody after Rocky leaves and Jazz tells them how she wants to ask Rocky to go with her to the Mane and Hooves Expo. Of course, all of the other ponies have their own ideas of how Jazz should be when she asks Rocky out.

Pipp and Izzy give her a puppet of Rocky to practice with, calling him Senor Rocky and giving him a fake voice. Sunny encourages her to smile, Zipp, for her to be casual, and Pipp, for her to sing and have some drama.

Not surprisingly, when she does see Rocky next, she is tonguetied and awkward, trying to follow all their ideas as they watch from the bushes. Rocky gets nervous and even backs up a little. She finally falls forward onto Rocky while doing a dance like Izzy suggested, and that's when the two tickets to the Expo fall onto the ground where Rocky can see.

Jazz finally tells Rocky how she wanted to ask him out, and he reveals he also had two tickets to it and wanted to do the same to her. Their cutie mark magic fills the air with hearts which makes the main characters and them happy.

Jazz and Rocky get front row seats at the Expo and are enjoying themselves, but of course the main characters appear right behind them, sharing the moment.
