My Little Pony Minis
Basic Fun! released a new style of retro ponies in 2022-2023, the 2" mini figures. These ponies have molded manes and synthetic hair tails with ribbons. They are similar to the Running Press mini Firefly and Glory from 2014 and 2016, respectively.

Rescue at Midnight Castle: Collectors Edition: Series 1
The first mini ponies were a set of six characters featured in the Rescue at Midnight Castle/Firefly's Adventure G1 pilot episode. The set includes Applejack, Bow-Tie, Firefly, Medley, Moondancer, and Twilight and is retail-priced at $19.99 USD.

Mystery Mini Ponies
Also released in 2023 is a series of seven blind box mini ponies. Characters in the assortment are Bubbles, Cotton Candy, Ember, Gusty, Moondancer, Spike, and Starflower. Moondancer is included in the Rescue at Midnight Castle set. Each box has an alphanumeric code printed on the bottom, which can be used to determine which character is inside. The third character from the right is the number used, and characters are as follows:

40th Anniversary Collector Three-Pack
A special edition three-pack released in 2023 includes two standard-sized ponies, Blossom and Cotton Candy, and a new mini pony, Glory. All of the ponies have a pearly finish. It includes one 40th Anniversary shooting star brush and a ribbon in each pony's tail and retailed for $19.99 USD at Target.
Mini Classics
A three-pack of previously released mini ponies was released in 2024 under Basic Fun!'s mini Classics™ brand. This set includes Bubbles, Firefly, and Gusty, each with a ribbon, and retailed for $9.99.
