Its mee again

Hope grad school is going alright, cool to see you more active! I've been taking a lot of pictures of G5 ponies and accessories, I was curious if it was at all possible to add some sort of mass upload extension to the wiki. It seems there are a few of them: [1] I understand if not, it seems a little tricky to put up. I can still get images on there independantly, but it will just take a while longer and be a bit cumbersome.

Hi Again, Absol!

Hello! I'm working on the groundwork for G5/G4.5. Could you please add:

  • G4.5 TV and Movies
  • G4.5 Merchandise
  • G4.5 Characters

  • G5 Ponies
  • G5 Characters
  • G5 Merchandise
  • G5 TV and Movies

to the sidebar? If there's a way for me to do these and I'm just missing out, feel free to lmk.

Hey, you seem inactive, so no rush, I was just curious if there was a way to add G4.5/Pony Life to the main page links.

Just wanted to say great job on updating the wiki! I already added some scans I've been holding onto for some time, again many thanks! :) Emfen (talk) 11:10, 12 November 2016 (EST)

Hey Absol,

I've put up some photo's this morning which are donated and I made a reference to the person, see the electronics merchandise page but I have no idea how to put her photo's on her page, can you help?

Category pics

I love the multi category search but isn't it annoying there are no pics :( its up to you if you want to add it, for the more experienced collector its good when you have forgotten the name, and maybe new collectors could resort back to the theme one or the colour one then it caters for both.

Some questions

  1. Looking through some design ideas, I came across a number of wiki possibilities I've never used before, but think would give some sweet effects. However, I get the feeling the MLWiki isn't capable of running them and I was wondering if they could be implemented. One is the possiblity to enlarge an image if you scroll over it, as shown here, the other is this stuff about about border radii (and gradient/shadow).
  2. I asked a few days ago if it'd be prudent to one day include info on the 86/7 Fairy Tails line, which wasn't connected to MLP as franchise, but clearly took inspiration from it. Homebrew 10:12, 10 October 2011 (PDT)

Am I helping?

So, did you like my help at the G4 Characters page? Have I done anything wrong? And by the way, there is something I need to ask you: If a character has a different name in the show and in the toys, which name should we use prominently? For exemple, Roseluck, Flower Wishes and Trixie Lulamoon are called "Rose", "Daisy" and "Trixie" in the show, but we're using their toy names. Meanwhile, Apple Dazzle and Crimson Gala are called "Apple Bumpkin" and "Red Gala" in the show, and we're using their show names. So, which should we use? Show names or toy names? I'm thinking toy names, because this wiki seems to focus more on the toys... Wally Wolf 21:45, 19 August 2012 (EDT)

G4 Characters

Okay, let's go for toy names, then. About the G4 Characters, I think think we should only list the ones who have an official name and the ones who appear more prominetly. I don't think the others are important enough for being listed... Wally Wolf 20:12, 20 August 2012 (EDT)

G4 Poses

Hey, currently, the G4 poses are named like "G4 Original Earth Pose", rather than the usual naming by using the name of the first pony that used the pose. I'd like to change that. This pose, for example, should be called "G4 Applejack Pose", what do you think? I think it's easier to remember, 'cause the only ponies with "original" poses are the Mane Six. Hey, you seem to have contact with SoSilver, who is the donator of several G4 pictures. If you have the time, could you please ask him for some cutie mark pictures we're needing for the index (perhaps some general toy photos, too). Among the one's we're needing and that he seems to own, are Cherry Berry and Sunny Rays. Here's a list of the pictures I want, if you can help, please. Wally Wolf 22:23, 6 October 2012 (EDT)
