Jazz Hooves works at Mane Melody, a business in Maretime Bay owned by Pipp Petals.
She makes her first appearance in the My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale episode Welcome to Mane Melody alongside her coworker Rocky Riff.
Jazz makes various appearances throughout My Little Pony: Make Your Mark and Tell Your Tale.
In the Tell Your Tale episode Jazz Hearts Rocky, Jazz reveals that she has a crush on Rocky, eventually asking him out at the end of the episode.
Jazz has ears in the early shots of Make Your Mark but they suddenly disappear later on. This is likely due to model conflicts involving the interactions between the ears and the hair as her ears can be seen clipping through the hair frequently. In Tell Your Tale, which doesn't have these issues, she always retains her ears.

Pedicure Party Jazz Hooves is a 6-inch Walmart-exclusive brushable earth pony. She comes with several stickers that can be placed on her hooves to make them look like they're painted, though they tend to slide and peel off very easily.
