Fun Facts
- Name changes are common in the early stages of production development. Squawker was originally male and called "Trumpet" in the 1987 Sunbow Moondreamers Bible. As Trumpet, he would use a trumpet prop to wake children up from their sleep. The name was eventually changed to "Screecher" before eventually settling on the less harsher name of Squawker. Squawker's prop was then changed into a megaphone.
- Creaky was originally known as "Sneakers" due to his squeaky shoes prop, while Shiner was unimaginatively called "Flashlight" due to his flashlight prop.
- Squawker is the official leader of the Sleep Creeps.
