After their shadows were stolen, it turned into Grayvaile. He was able to turn himself around and help the ponies defeat Arabus and Zeb. His band was Night Shade and the Shadowettes. |

This character first appeared on Bright Lights. Night Shade is a rock star singer who was lured by the promise of stardom by Arabus and Zeb to unknowingly at first help steal shadows from his audiences. He kept it up in fear of losing his own shadow and embarrassment of what he had gotten himself involved in. His first audience being his hometown of Bright Valley which included his mother.
