Graduates!

The episode begins with Zipp Storm showing her flying prowess. Not all pegasi are so skilled, though; as Hitch and Izzy get smoothies from Sunny, a delivery pegasus crashes dramatically in front of them. The ponies decide Zipp should run a flight school, although introverted Zipp is not enthused about the idea.

Nevertheless, she is soon (reluctantly) welcoming pegasi to W.I.N.G.S.: The Wonderful Institute of No-Gravity Skywalking. Her four students are Windy, royal guards Thunder and Zoom Zephyrwing, and the delivery pegasus.

Zipp has the students watch her as she flies quickly and skillfully through an obstacle course, then asks them to complete it. But the delivery pony's flying cart keeps banging into the obstacles, Thunder and Zoom collide with each other, and Windy becomes paralyzed by her crippling fear of daisies. Zipp decides the situation is hopeless and leaves.

As she walks away, she spots a pegasus teaching her young foal how to fly; when he crashes, she hurries over to pick him up and encourage him, causing him to regain his confidence and smile happily. Zipp remembers how her mother would also encourage her when she was a young foal bouncing around piles of cushions. Inspired, she returns to the flight training camp.

This time she takes things more gradually instead of expecting her students to master flying immediately. She and her friends use flying aids like wind machines to help the pegasi stay aloft. (Also Izzy gives Windy therapy sessions to help her get over her daisy phobia.)

Soon her students are flying like pros! Izzy congratulates them on having graduated and admits to Sunny that teaching was sort of fun . . . even if she doesn't want to do it again any time soon.
