Shining Armor appears in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. He is the brother of Twilight Sparkle, and is captain of the royal guard. He is introduced in "A Canterlot Wedding: Part 1", where he marries Princess Cadance. He later rules the Crystal Empire beside her.

Shining Armor is voiced by Andrew Francis.
