Just like the G4 comics, the G5 comics were created by IDW and each issue had multiple collectible covers.

The big royal dinner is coming up, which means a lot of responsibility for Zipp and a huge performance for Pipp. But both of them don't appreciate what the other has to do. Zipp ends up not showing up to Pipp's rehearsal because of the royal dinner preparations, and on top of that another music artist, Carotang, is trying to overshadow Pipp. When Pipp flies off after an argument with Zipp, she finds a wishing well nymph named Milkyway, who desperately wants somepony to make a wish.

Note: Pipp starts singing "Everything is Gonna Be Okay" from "My Little Pony: Make Your Mark" for her fans.

Note: At one point, Sparky finds a book in the library called "Little Fillies." In the G4 Comic series around this time IDW started making parodies of famous literature with G4 characters, one of which was "Little Fillies," a parody of Little Women.
