Equestria is the fictional world in which the G4 Ponies live. Currently, it is ruled jointly by Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, who took power after defeating the villanous Discord. According to the episode "Hearth's Warming Eve", Equestria was founded jointly by the three pony tribes: the Pegasi, the Unicorns, and the Earth Ponies.
