G4 Moondancer was mentioned in the first episode of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but not seen in the show until Season 5. She has now been shown in the episodes "Amending Fences" and "The Cutie Re-Mark - Part 1", as well as the IDW comics.
She looks very similar to G1 Moondancer.
