King of the Lava Demons, '''Lavan''' was the main antagonist of the '''My Little Pony 'n Friends''' story arc, [[The Quest of the Princess Ponies]].  Commanding power over lava and always speaking in a loud, booming voice, he sought out the power of the Princess Ponies' magic wands.  Obtaining them transformed him into a powerful crystalline being but it also threw all of Ponyland's magic out of control.  He was eventually destroyed when [[Megan]] and the Princess Ponies managed to recharge the wands' power in the Heart of Ponyland and his attempt to attack them again was reflected back on him.
