The 2011 My Little Pony Fair was held at Hasbro HQ in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on the 8th and 9th July. The Fair Pony was intended to be seen for the first time at the fair, however had been leaked previously and been sold in department stores in Singapore.
Prior to it's official debut, the Fair Pony had been referred to as the Orange Egyptian Pony due to the sunburst design and Eye of Horus style makeup.
On the pony's back, just above her tail, the sun emblem has "MLP 2011" written in it in gold.
