Lyra prototype at the 2012 Toy Fair
Before being officially named by Hasbro, fans named this TV series background character Lyra. Hasbro first released a blind bag pony with her features named Heartstings. The following blind bag set contained the same toy with the updated named Lyra Heartstrings. Either Hasbro changed their mind after a while or the first toy was produced before they noticed/cared about fan names.
Lyra Heartstrings' first appearance in "Friendship is Magic" is S1E1 "The Elements of Harmony".
