Wizard Wantall is a recurring antagonist of the ponies in the G1 comic books who first appeared in "My Little Pony" #3. Sometimes he works alone and sometimes he is assisted by a green-skinned, blond boy named Get-It.

In his first appearances Wizard Wantall attempts to steal the ponies' Waterfall, but later he goes after anything that catches his eye, including Baby Countalot's abacus, the Sparkle pony Sky Rocket, and First Base's baseball.

Wizard Wantall has a strange love-hate relationship with the ponies, as he constantly steals their belongings . . . to put in his Pony Museum.
