Hop, Jump, and their friends
Locket, with and Hop, Jump, Lucinda (purple swan), and Yolande (yellow swan)
Toy version of Hop and Jump. It's unknown which is which.

Hop and Jump are two rabbits, both animal friends who came with the Baby Bonnet School of Dance and who featured in the G1 comic books. One is yellow and one is purple, but it is unknown which rabbit is which. They are good friends with Baby Half Note and the other Baby Bonnet School of Dance animal friends: Iris the yellow bee, Pandora the purple bee, Yolande the yellow swan, and Lucinda the purple swan.

For a long time the rabbits and their friends took care of Baby Half Note, who was stuck on an island in the middle of Swan Lake. (The rabbits reached the island via burrows that went under the lake.) Baby Half Note was unable to get off the island until a magic key led Locket to the lake. After meeting Locket they all moved to Pony Land.

Hop and Jump are well-meaning, but rather forgetful. Spike's great-grandfather once gave them a message about how to get Baby Half Note off the island, but by the time they got back to the lake all they could remember was that "it had something to do with Pony Land." Their special job is to make lace.

Sometimes the rabbits are drawn to resemble their toy appearance (from the Baby Bonnet School of Dance), other times they are less anthromorphic and look more like real rabbits.
