Snipsy Snap is a G4 Unicorn Foal. He originated as a minor character in the TV Show My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, where he is simply called Snips.

Snips is a school-age colt in Apple Bloom's class. He is best friends with Snails. He is shorter and plumper than most colts his age. He is very excitable and goofy, and tends to get into trouble alongside Snails. He, like Snails, originally idolized Trixie because of her supposed feats, before finding out she was a fraud. When Trixie returns in the episode, Magic Duel, he and Snails are forced to pull her wheeless chariot and are targets for the spells she uses to show off.
