Butterfly Island is home to the rather shy pegasi in Generation 3 of the My Little Pony franchise. It's reachable through a rainbow waterfall that connects to Ponyville. Because of their elusiveness the earth ponies in Ponyville don't really believe they exist when Skywishes reveals she has befriended one.
