Meet the ponies is a special DVD that was a free bonus with certain G3 ponies. Each episode focuses on one member of the "Core 7" and they’re approximately 5 minutes long or less each.

Pinkie Pie "Party Party"
- Episode: Pinkie Pie is day dreaming she can’t keep up with all the things she has to do for her party. She wakes up by Scootaloo who is flying a kite and she tells her fears that her party won’t work out. Scootaloo reassures her nothing will go wrong and she goes off home to do all the chores needed for the party. Her friends drop by to help set up the party then they all happily enjoy the party and realise they had a party making the party.

Rainbow Dash "Hat Fashion Party"
- Episode: Pinkie Pie is walking past Rainbow Dashes house to find her buried in a pile of clothes. Rainbow Dash is dressing up to get some fun ideas for a dress up party she’s going to hold. Rainbow Dash makes a hat on Pinkie Pie’s head and the other friends see and admire the hat through the window. They all want one and they get invited to ‘the make your own hat’ party. Rainbow Dash lets them go through her shop to make their own designs and they hold a competition showing them off. Rainbow Dash and Pinkie Pie can’t decide and declare that they are all winners.

Cheerilee "Pajama Party"
- Episode: Cheerilee is grooming Pinkie Pie’s mane and Pinkie Pie asks if she’s ready for her Slumber party tonight. Cheerilee says no but everyone is helping out. It cuts to everyone unrolling their sleeping bags and they all start to play games of dressing up, skipping rope, drawing, baking cookies, making balloons animals, singing and dancing and telling scary stories. They all end up not sleeping at all.

- When Cheerliee is telling her story she’s on top of the sleeping bag, moments later she’s tuck in while looking at Pinkie Pie.
- Pinkie Pie and Cheerilee are the ones who hide behind the sleeping bag full of ponies but after the mouse appears its Pinkie Pie and Scootaloo.
Scootaloo "Outdoor Play Party"
- Episode: Scootaloo remarks everyone’s throwing a party and she wants to throw one too. She asks Pinkie Pie to help her. Pinkie Pie sits down too have her "Pinkie Squink" while Scootaloo runs back and forth doing things like skipping rope and riding a scooter. Pinkie Pie says “she can’t think with all the things you do” that gives Scootaloo the idea to have an out door skipping, skating, scooter riding party. She thanks Pinkie and goes off to invite everyone. They hold the party like a competition and five of the seven wins an event each but Scootaloo only has one first place prize. They talk it over and give the prize to Scootalooas thanks for giving them such a great day.

Starsong "Dance & Sing Party"
- Episode: Starsong is setting up the stage up in the park with Pinkie Pie. She begins singing and draws in a crowd of her friends. They applaud her song and she tells them they’re having a karaoke party. Sweetie-Belle walks off saying she can’t. Cheerilee cheers her up by telling Sweetie-Belle, Starsong used to be shy too and only sing in her house. We flash back to Starsong being caught in her room singing by Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie sets up a stage for Starsong and gets her to practice with the curtain drawn, unknown to Starsong, her friends have turned up and can hear her where they applaud again. Back to the present Sweetie-Belle feels a lot better and is up for a song.

Toola Roola "Mixed-Up Painting Party"
- This episode features the first on-screen use of the term "cutie mark".
- Episode: The friends turn up at Toola Roola’s house to paint some plates. Starsong feels she can’t but Toola Roola shows her how easy it is and soon they’re all painting away. They leave the plates with Toola Roola after cutie marking them to dry. Toola Roola looks gloomy while waiting for them to dry then realise she has to clean up. While she’s gone the wind blows the cards telling her whose plate is whose on to the floor. Pinkie Pie arrives back first and helps label them back up. Pinkie Pie and Toola Roola then go off to fetch some cake when the others get back and while they’re gone the other four all swap the plates back to their original owners.

Sweetie-Belle "New Cake Party"
- Episode: The girls are talking about and drawing how they would make a cake each and what ingredients they would use. We then learn they’re getting ready for Sweetie-Belle’s Ta Da its My New Cake party. They decide to show the drawings to Sweetie-Belle at her sweetie shop to help her make a new cake for her party, as she’d been struggling for an idea. Then they just go ahead and help themselves to the materials to make the cakes in to one mix, while Sweetie-Belle tries telling them it’s important to follow directions when baking. The cake they bake shoots it’s self out of the oven, Sweetie-Belle tries it first and says it’s different but when the others try it, they hate it. Sweetie-Belle then has an idea and gets the ponies to help her bake another cake. They manage to do so all the while eating all the spare ingredients. It becomes a six layered cake based on each of her friends designs but they’re so full from making the cake, they can’t eat it and have a nap instead.
