Baby Sparkleberry Swirl was released with the My Little Pony PC Play Pack in 2004.
Her name was chosen via a poll on Hasbro's My Little Pony website. The options were Sparkleberry Swirl, Sweetie-Belle, and Starberry.[1][2]

Sparkleberry Swirl appears in the PC Play Pack where she visits Ponyville to attend the Friendship Ball at Celebration Castle.
