Cutie Mark Crew is the blind bag-style set that has served as a replacement of sorts for the G4 Blind Bag Ponies that were released from 2011 to early 2018. The Cutie Mark Crew sets began to show up in Europe first, before hitting the U.S. This set deviates from the previous blind bags, being less concerned with "show accuracy" and designing each character with a large head, cartoonish eyes, and a small body. There are three types of figure: ponies, Equestria Girls, and mer/seaponies. Each figure comes with an accessory (themed according to series) that can fit the figure inside. The Equestria Girls come with a small heart with a peg to insert into their foot. Like most other G4 toys, the ponies and merponies each have their Cutie Marks on one side. The toys are sold in either multi-packs (of five or eight) or singular blind capsules (each capsule containing a figure, accessory, and checklist). The capsule itself is stacking and can serve as a display for the ponies. These capsules are absent in the multi-pack releases.

Cafeteria Cuties

Series 1 (known as "Cafeteria Cuties") is themed around food and school.

Blind Bag Figures

  • 24 figures total
  • 3 special glittered figures: Princess Cadance (pony), Dj Pon-3 (pony), and Sunset Shimmer (Equestria Girl)
  • 12 pony figures (including Spike), 7 Equestria Girls, and 5 seaponies were released in blind bag form
  • Interesting to note that the checklist image for Cheerilee features her as a Pegasus, as her mold is a modified version of the Rainbow Dash mold

Multi-Pack Figures

Fin-Tastic Field Trip contains five figures:

  • Fluttershy (Seapony) with a sailboat
  • Pinkie Pie (Seapony) in an orange clamshell
  • Rainbow Dash (Seapony) in a purple and blue shell
  • Twilight Sparkle (Seapony) in a sand castle
  • Rarity (Seapony) in a blue and purple floatie. She is the "mystery pony" in this set.

This is the only set in series one where Rarity as a seapony can be obtained. Nature Club contains five figures:

  • Applejack (Seapony) with a blue watering can
  • Fluttershy (Equestria Girl) with a bundle of carrots
  • Rainbow Dash (Pony) with a pink wheelbarrow
  • Rarity (Pony) with a flowerpot
  • Flower Wishes (Pony) with a pink flowerpot. She is the "mystery pony" in this set.

Star Students contains five figures:

  • Applejack (Pony) in a desk
  • Pinkie Pie (Pony) in a pencil
  • Rarity (Pony) in a bookstack
  • Twilight Sparkle (Equestria Girl) in a marker
  • Princess Celestia (Pony) in a jelly scroll. She is the "mystery pony" in this set.

Sparkly Sweets is a Target exclusive set. It contains eight figures:

  • Applejack (Pony) in a sparkly apple pie
  • Pinkie Pie (Pony) in a sparkly purple cupcake
  • Twilight Sparkle (Pony) in a sparkly purple ice cream dish
  • Rarity (Pony) in a sparkly ice cream sandwich
  • Fluttershy (Pony) in a sparkly donut
  • Rainbow Dash (Pony) in a sparkly popcorn bowl
  • Spike (Pony) in a sparkly popsicle
  • Princess Celestia (Pony)(Glitter) in a sparkly pink cupcake

Party Performers

Series 2 (known as "Party Performers") is themed around parties (albeit loosely).
