The Everfree Forest is a location exclusive to the G4 television show, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. It is a large forest located in the land of Equestria.
Media Appearance
The Everfree Forest is a is shown to be located outside of Ponyville, and is the home of the zebra Zecora. Most ponies are somewhat unnerved by the forest, as unlike the rest of Equestria, it apparently does not require pony intervention to keep nature in sync.
The forest is stated to be home to many strange or dangerous creatures. Fluttershy lives in a cottage at its edge, but states that it is much too dangerous for most ponies. In the upcoming season premiere for Season 4, the Everfree Forest is stated to be taking over Equestria, forcing Twilight Sparkle and her friends to intervene.
