My Little Pony Tales, the animated pony TV show started in year Ten of G1 or 1992.
It began airing weekly on The Disney Channel every Sunday morning starting on August 2nd 1992 to December 25th 1992 for 26 episodes. It also aired on weekday mornings beginning September 1st 1992. Reruns of the show continued on The Disney Channel until 1996.
My little Pony Tales has been released on DVD in Australia and Europe.
The series follows seven, 10 years old female ponies who live in Ponyland (Starlight, Sweetheart, Melody, Bright Eyes, Patch, Clover and Bon Bon).
This series is different from the previous series that involved ponies and humans. These ponies live like humans. They attend school, visit the local ice cream shop, enter talent contests, throw parties and even roller skate. Some of the girl ponies even begin to show a romantic interest in the male ponies, Teddy, Ace and Lancer.
The series also every now and then tried to teach you something like treating your friends right, looking after the enviroment and with a little belief you can succeed.
