Sandman

The Sandman is a character in the G1 comic books.
He is the Bringer of Sweet Dreams who travels around the world every night, using his magical sweet dream dust to lull people to sleep. In addition to appearing in the My Little Pony and My Little Pony and Friends comics, he is also in the book The Man in the Moon, although he is drawn as being older and stouter there, compared with his boyish appearance in the comic books. In the comics he has sandy hair, but in the book his hair is purple with a white streak in it.
The Sandman lives with the Man in the Moon (in the Moon) and the two of them are very close. The Sandman is also good friends with Majesty.
Appearances
- In the book The Man in the Moon, he goes to Majesty for help when the Man in the Moon becomes jealous of him and locks up all his sweet dream dust.[1] In this book he is described as being "an old friend of Majesty's" and "an old man".
- In "My Little Pony" #34, the Sandman makes Spike sleep as the little dragon tries to stay up to see Pony Christmas putting out presents. [2]
