Rob Rabbit, the woodland crier, is a character in the G1 comic books. His job is to run through Ponyland ringing his bell and calling out the news whenever something significant happens. Sometimes he brings news of approaching danger and other times more mundane or pleasant information. He is good friends with the ponies.
