Liam the Leprechaun is a recurring character in the G1 comic books. He lives at one end of a rainbow (often depicted as the rainbow at the ponies' Waterfall), watching over his crock of gold. He is friendly with the ponies, who sometimes guard his gold or help him get it back if someone has stolen it. Every year Liam celebrates Lucky Clover Day, which has the trappings of St. Patrick's Day.
Liam's general appearance varies from comic to comic, but he is generally a small man with a white beard who may or may be wearing green.
Appearances
- In "My Little Pony" #7, Majesty turns golden flowers into golden coins to help Liam replace his treasure. This is his first appearance.
