G4 TV and Movies encompass all forms of animated media related to G4. Much like Generation 1, G4 ponies are primarily featured in a TV series, My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, often abbreviated as MLP: FiM. Also included is the feature-length movie, My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.

My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic covers nine seasons for a total of 221 episodes, two hour-long specials, and a theatrical release movie. The show largely revolves around six ponies: Twilight Sparkle, Rarity, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy. Twilight Sparkle is a Unicorn who is tasked with studying the magic of friendship by Princess Celestia. Twilight and her five friends are also wielders of the Elements of Harmony, a collective group of artifacts that represent the most powerful magic in ponydom.
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic varies from previous Pony media by featuring male ponies in addition to female ponies. In addition, the show introduced Alicorns, ponies with both wings and a horn, and reintroduced antagonistic characters. The show holds a wide fanbase, which ranges from young girls to teenage and adult men, and has been praised for its high quality writing and animation.

Happy Birthday to You!
On September 14, 2017, Netflix released a short where Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie are outside of Fluttershy's cottage after hearing that it was the viewer's birthday. So Pinkie gathers cupcakes, balloons, and party hats, and they sing the birthday song. Pinkie starts taking it too far, bringing in random creatures, characters, and objects to add to the song lyrics.

Rainbow Roadtrip (2019)
Airs June 29th, 2019 The Mane Six hop a balloon for Hope Hollow, where Rainbow Dash has been invited to be the guest of honor at the town's Rainbow Festival. But when they crashland in town, there's nopony there to greet them. The mystery grows when the sun rises to reveal the entire town and the ponies in it have been drained of color! While TwilightSparkle tries to discover what malicious magic caused the town to fade, her friends help the townsponies plan a new rainbow festival, making friends along the way, and restoring the hope missing from Hope Hollow.
Hello Pinkie Pie
A short, 3D animated series on YouTube. This show used different voice actors from the ones in the main series.

Pinkie introduces her new show and a mysterious box is moving around behind her. She picks it up, opens box after box, and then finds a real life Oh My Giggles Pinkie Pie toy. Then the audience sees Gummy surrounded by them.

2. Year in Review (December 31, 2019)

Pinkie does a year in review by recapping some key moments of season 9 of Friendship is Magic. Gummy does an outfit of the day by wearing a clown costume. She brings up five moments from Frenemies, The Last Crusade, The Last Laugh, The Big Mac Question, and The Ending of the End - Part 2. Then it is revealed Gummy's drums are covered in sparklers.
3. Hearts & Hooves Valentine's Day Special (February 12, 2020)

Pinkie talks about how Valentine's Day is celebrated in the United States, China, Wales, and Brazil. Then she talks about Hearts and Hooves. Then Pinkie does a craft by making a heart shaped Valentine gift for Gummy. Then she picks up a note supposedly from Gummy, covered in his prints, that is thoughtful and dramatic.
4. Rarity's New App, Rari-fied! (March 16, 2020)

Rarity is a guest on Pinkie's show and talks about her new app, Rari-fied. It lets the ponies do virtual makeovers of themselves, and uses the Pony Life style. Pinkie tries it and takes it overboard and then tries to get Rarity dunked in pudding.

Pinkie asks a few random hypothetical questions. Gummy does a joke of the day (absolutely nothing). She shows a hack to get scratches off a table by making a walnut and glitter paste. And the show ends with cupcakes getting thrown at her.

DJ Pon 3 comes in and sets up her speakers and turntables and does a remix of the G4 MLP theme. Even Gummy is partying. Pinkie tries to join with a one man band, but it ruins it.
- The crowd can be seen and it looks like flat images of the background ponies from Friendship is Magic in that show's style.

Pinkie introduces her guest: Twilight Sparkle. Twilight thinks she's teaching about friendship, but she's really there for the titular challenge, which is kind of like "Who's That Pokemon?" If she gets a question wrong, she gets a pie in the face. There are silhouettes of Big Mac, Spike, and Trixie.

Pinkie has Twilight on the show again with a bunch of potion bottles. Twilight hasn't labeled them so they have to test them all out. Pinkie takes one that makes her huge, one that makes her tiny, one that gives her heat vision, one that makes her spit out feathers, and one that makes her float.
10. The Best Eclaire Jenga Player - Rainbow Dash! (September 16, 2020)

Rainbow Dash is a guest on the show. They play Jenga with eclaires. Pinkie ends up toppling over the entire tower because she wants to eat them so bad, so Rainbow wins, but Rainbow shares them with her. They start playing buckball with pumpkins.
- Pinkie makes a parody of Dance Dance Revolution.
- The eclaires are not only treated as a Jenga game, but have the Jenga name on them.
11. Rarity's Mane Moments (October 14, 2020)

Rarity compliments the set design and Pinkie reveals it was Rarity's work. Rarity is there to talk about manes, and Pinkie has a different hairdo. Rarity shows a new one for herself, by stretching hers out and adding a little pink to it. Pinkie then makes Rarity's hair completely pink, then tries to do it to herself, which changes nothing.

Fluttershy shows up as a guest with a bunch of animals. She runs back to get their snacks and leaves them with Pinkie, and they start causing problems. Fluttershy comes back to see Pinkie panicking and calls all the animals together. She has them fix what they did, or at least try to.

Fluttershy and Rarity compliment a hedgehog on his dancing. Applejack helps a rabbit by bucking an apple out of a tree for them. Twilight is there for Rainbow when she misses making a basketball goal.
Rainbow and Applejack compliment each other a bunch. Twilight brings Rarity food and Rarity gives Twilight a spa day. Everyone goes to Gummy to talk about their problems.
