The US and the UK each have a set of six Pretty & Pearly Baby Sea Ponies released in Year Four (1985-1986), with only Beachcomber in common. These ponies, like the previous years' sea ponies, bear no symbols, but their bodies have a pearly sheen.

There are eight different characters in total for this set. Only Beachcomber is exactly the same for both sets. Ripple, Sun Shower, and Water Lily are in different poses between the sets.
Each pony includes a fish comb or whale brush, ribbon, water animal-shaped float, and a special offer order form. North American ponies include a scented body sticker. UK ponies include a round, puffy sticker.
