Baby Pearlized ponies are G1 ponies available only through mail order during Year Seven (1988-1989). They are basically the same as the first baby ponies introduced in G1 during Year Three (1984-1985) but with the bodies painted over with a pearly sheen.
The exceptions are Baby Moondreamer/Moondancer who had a hair color change and Baby Glory who has had a slighter hair color change, but her body has also taken on a more blue than white tint. Also all the ponies' symbols are no longer sparkly, but matte under the pearly sheen.
