The first My Little Ponies released were six Earth Ponies in what is commonly called the collectors pose. They can be distinguished from the Collector Ponies released in the second year by their feet. Year one ponies have flat feet, and year two ponies have concaved feet. For this reason, they are called "Flat Foot" (ff) for ease of reference amongst collectors.
They were also reissued for the 25th Anniversary of My Little Pony
- Original 1983 Collection 1: Blue Belle, Butterscotch, and Cotton Candy
- Original 1983 Collection 2: Snuzzle, Blossom, and Minty
