Baby Pearlized ponies are G1 ponies available only through mail order during Year Seven (1988-1989). They are basically the same as the first baby ponies introduced in G1 during Year Three (1984-1985) but with the bodies painted over with a pearly sheen.
The the few changes that occurred to the ponies are Baby Moondreamer/Moondancer and Baby Glory got their manes changed to monotone (to match the others presumably), and Baby Glory's body has also taken on a more blue than white tint. Also all the ponies' symbols are no longer sparkly, but matte under the pearly sheen.
