G1 Characters

In Generation 1 the stories of the My Little ponies were told in two TV series' and several movis (dubbed in a variety of languages) and in UK exclusive comic books.
The toys shown are representative though more than one may exist per character. "N/A" as in "not applicable" means the character did not appear in the movies and/or shows or such a toy was not made.
Also, keep in mind that the animation style and the artwork significantly changed and kept changing over almost 13 years and the two never quite matched up, unlike in G4 where the the two started together and about the same. Where as in G1 the movies and then the show started a few years after the toy line had started.
