There is a collection of about two dozen (?) porcelain My Little Pony figurines made during Generation 1.
In the US the figurines were made by a company called "Extra Special".
The figurines are of two types, depicting either single ponies, or larger multi-pony scenes. The pony portion of the figurines are about half the size of a regular G1 pony.
Both types came with large identifying tags on strings.
The multi-pony scenes were packaged one to a box, whereas the smaller single pony figurines were packaged in boxes that held four of the same figurine.
The figurines were inconsistently marked with one or two stickers and/or a printed horseshoe mark and title on their undersides.
These porcelain figurines were also produced in certain parts of Europe resulting to European variants and exclusives.[1]
