Backcard Story

G1 Princess Starburst's US Backcard

Princess Starburst fell asleep dreaming of a faraway land where marshmallow clouds floated above a castle made of chocolate bars. Lollipop trees lined the banks of a gurgling root beer stream. As Starburst enjoyed the spectacular sight, she spotted some children playing by the stream. "Come play with us," they called to her, licking luscious ice cream cones. They played games and nibbled sweet treats until Starburst suddenly woke up! "What a wonderful dream," she yawned, bumping something with her foot. At the end of her bed was the BIGGEST chocolate chip cookie she had ever seen! Her sweet dream had come true!

Princess Starburst appeared in one story arc of the My Little Pony and Friends TV series, "The Quest of the Princess Ponies". Her magic wand had the power to turn red robins into blue jays. It's never clarified if this was just limited to species of birds or if she could change any one animal to another.

Princess Starburst was sold under the name Princess Amber in the UK, while the pony was the same as the US release the accessories were different, most notably she came with a Baby Dragon rather than a Bushwoolie.

UK Backcard Story

Princess Amber tackles life with lots of enthusiasm. Whatever happens she is always the first to get involved and the other ponies know that as soon as Amber says "That's no problem" trouble is sure to follow. Making sure Princess Amber looks before she leaps is her special dragon friend Flash.
