The Pegasus Ponies were introduced in Year Two and are the first flying ponies. They most closely resemble Pegasus of Greek mythology, hence the name. Their wings are bird-like, unlike the other flying ponies, such as the Flutter Ponies and Summer Wing Ponies.

The pegasus ponies often allow Megan and her siblings to ride on their backs over the rainbow to Ponyland.
