Baby Splashes was one of six Baby Fancy Pants ponies released in the US and Canada. This set had painted on underpants.
In some other countries, however, she was part of a hybrid set called the Playtime Baby ponies which combined Baby Drummer and Baby Paws of the Playtime Baby Brother set and Baby Glider, Baby Splashes, Baby Dots 'n Hearts, and Baby Starburst of the Baby Fancy Pants ponies set. The UK, France, and Germany were some of the countries that received this hybrid set.
