"That was a great film, Star Hopper", Sunspot said to her friend, turning off the television. "I liked the flying saucer", said Star Hopper, going to the kitchen to make hot cocoa. As she heated up the water, Star Hopper turned her cup upside down on her saucer and touched it with her magic horn. Suddenly, the cup and saucer started to spin around, then zoomed past Sunspot and zoomed out the window! "It's a flying cup-and-saucer!" laughed Sunspot, as it zipped back inside and sprinkled stardust on the delighted ponies!

Mail Order Star Hopper
Star Hopper was later available through a special Mail Order offer, with white hair and a pink flying saucer on her right cheek. She was available Year Six (1987-1988) and Year Seven (1988-1989).
