While the standard released Year Two and Year Three Rainbow Ponies have glitter symbols, many other ponies released outside of North America have metallic or normal inked symbols.

Moonstone's Backcard

The first Rainbow Ponies are a six-pony set of two earth ponies, two pegasus ponies, and two unicorns. They feature a mane of dark pink, yellow, green, and blue stripes, a tail blended from the same colors, and glitter symbols.
