US Backcard Story
Note: These stories are reproduced exactly as they appear on the ponies' backcards, including all errors.
Way up in the trees, the leaves had put on their autumn coats and Gusty was thrilled. "I love fall colors - orange, red and yellow!" Dancing happily. Gusty whirled through the colorful treetops.
Suddenly a wild wind whistled through the sky and the leaves were yanked from their trees. They fluttered down and lay lifeless on the ground. "Back up there! Go back up!" Taking a deep breath, Gusty puckered her lips and blew on the leaves. At Gusty's magical command, the leaves happily swirled around and returned to their home.
So Soft Gusty
SS Gusty was released in Year Four (1985-1986). She is basically the same pony as UK Gusty but with flocking.

Euro Gusty
UK Gusty, or Euro Gusty, was a version of US Gusty released in UK and some European countries. Her symbols have no glitter and her eyes are green.
She came with a pink comb and a pink ribbon.
The same pony was released in Germany with another backcard, her name was Leckermäulchen.
UK Backcard Story
Gusty is happiest in the autumn when the leaves turn beautiful shades of red, yellow, orange and brown. With her unicorn magic, she can make the leaves burst with spectacular colour, even in the heat of Summertime. If a leaf accidentally falls from a tree, Gusty is always glad to return it to its happy home.
Argentinian Gusty
In some episodes of Mi Pequeño Pony aired in Argentina Gusty was refered as Resuello.
Argentinian Gusty's symbols were printed reversed in some releases.

Italian Gusty
Italian Gusty was released in 1986 as part of the Second set of "Pegasi & Unicorni Mio Mini Pony" in Italy. His Italian name is Gustavo. Gustavo stands in same pose as US Gusty, he has five purple metalic leaves as his symbol. His mane and tail are lighter than his US counterpart. He has blue eyes. In the Italian version of the My Little Pony cartoon Gustavo also has a male voice.
Scandinavian Gusty is like the US version (with a glittery symbol), but she has green eyes instead of light blue eyes. The same variation could be found in Australia too, so she could also be called Aussie Gusty.
Reverse Gusty
Little is known about reverse Gusty, it is believed that she is some kind of factory error. A variant from Scandinavian Gusty with bright red tail and bright red mane with a green stripe. Green eyes and glittery symbols. There are not many known examples of this pony.
