Buzzer is a G1 Summer Wing Pony. Two different versions were produced in the same year, one at the Hong Kong factory, the other in China. The Hong Kong version has harder plastic, a greener tint to the hair, more vibrant, dark green body color, purple-pink eyes, angled bee symbol, and less contrast between the symbol color and body. The cheek flower is larger and less closely formed. The China produced Buzzer has a soft plastic body, golden yellow hair with no hint of green, a lighter, more pastel body color, hot pink eyes, a horizontally placed bee symbol with bright yellow paint, and a tightly placed petals for the cheek symbol. There are no notable differences in the wings.

US Backcard Story
One day, Buzzer met a bumblebee who lost her way to the rose garden. "I'll take you there," Buzzer offered. They soared into the sky and followed the pink arch of the rainbow until they reached the beautiful roses. The little bee raced ahead of Buzzer to reach the flowers first. When Buzzer arrived, the bumblebee had a bouquet of pink, yellow and red roses waiting for her friend.
