Hasbro has taken to recycling pony names in each generation following Generation 1. This can be confusing to people not aware of this. Ie buying a G3 Rarity toy without much thought... turns out to be a pink pony. This is a growing list of recycled pony names as while as pony syles/themes.

Names are listed alphabetically, but starting from the earliest generation.
